Charles Rutenberg Realty opened its doors in Clearwater, Florida in the late 1990’s.  In just 6 years we have become the largest and fastest growing real estate brokerage in Central Florida with over 3,500 agents.  Charles Rutenberg has expanded to Fort Lauderdale, Chicago (with over 500 agents in less than 2 years!) and New York’s Long Island...and, now Manhattan! 

The principle is simple:  It is the agent in the field who generates the business, and as such, it is that agent who should receive the lion’s share of the earned commission.  Give the agent what they deserve and they’ll work harder for the consumer.  At the same time, provide the agent with all of the tools to do their business...training, solid business advice, support and guidance from respected and seasoned real estate and business professionals.  

Paul Purcell and Kathy Braddock, real estate veterans and former President and General Sales Manager of Douglas Elliman, New York’s largest brokerage, along with Richard Friedman and Jeffrey Markowitz, financial and Wall Street experts, have teamed up to give the agent and the consumer an alternative to the current Manhattan real estate experience.  Michael Barbolla, formerly of The Corcoran Group, joins the group as Manager.
