Michael Barbolla

Prior to joining Rutenberg Realty, Michael Barbolla was Managing Director at CitySites Real Estate Group.  There he was responsible for the daily operations of the firm’s downtown office as well as the oversight of the office’s agents and support staff.  In addition, he played a key role in developing the firms marketing and recruiting efforts.  Prior to his position at CitySites, Mr. Barbolla was a sales agent at the Corcoran Group, specializing in the sales of cooperatives and condominiums on Manhattan’s east-side. After graduating from The College of Saint Rose, where he earned his BA degree in public communications and Masters in educational psychology, Mr. Barbolla joined the New York State Bar Association's membership marketing department. He subsequently worked for his alma mater as director of development, then as executive director of the Wildwood Foundation which benefits individuals with learning disabilities. His work in the non-profit arena culminated at The New York Botanical Garden, where he served as director of membership. Mr. Barbolla, a resident of Murray Hill, is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York and its Rental Committee, the Manhattan Association of Realtors and is a volunteer for the Food Pantry at Saint Francis Xavier Church.
